Operating Chellie’s social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook). Curating and creating visual and copy content. Securing and managing online and in-person collaborations and sponsored content with various brands. Writing legal contracts for brand agreements.
Managing the Social Media and Styling interns. Daily check ins, task delegation, content and work approval, progress tracking, and schedule liaising.
Invoicing and accounting in HoneyBook for client payments and reimbursement. Managing cash flow and tracking payments.
Designing, developing, and seasonally updating the Chellie Carlson Style website in Squarespace.
Styling clients, conducting clothing pulls at various retailers, and operating/assisting with appointments as needed. Curating online style boards. Directing and maintaining brand aesthetic, positioning, & image to create a seamless brand perception. Updating and expanding website and branding kit, and sourcing and designing brand merchandise for the Spring season.
Run Chellie Carlson Style social media platforms and maintain online presence. Gained 800 new followers since January and increased engagement by 134%.
Managing and organising 2 high-end brand collaboration events with Veronica Beard and Alice + Olivia. Both events superseded projected sales goals by 300% and 200% respectively, and had 35+ people in attendance.

The Brief
Aesthetically coordinate Chellie Carlson Style’s Winter/Spring branding campaign photoshoot to reflect a clean and refined brand. Co-style on-trend looks while integrating branding merchandise into her outfits and the set.



















Social Media and Stylist Intern
August 2021 - December 2021
Rebrand Chellie Carlson Style brand and social channels with a cleaner look, concentrated copy, and cohesive brand voice. Redesigned and wrote copy for the Chellie Carlson Style website in Sqaurespace (with additional features in HTML and CSS). Created a scheduling system and integrated calendar for client relations. Developed a branding kit in Canva, designed merchandise in Photoshop, and manufactured branded merchandise to be distributed to clients and retailers.
Managed social media channels Instagram and Facebook to create content to target follower growth, increase engagement, and maintain a posting schedule. Chellie’s Instagram grew by 800 followers from August - December and engagement increased by over 600%. Created and managed an email list with over 300 subscribers. Wrote copy for and designed 3 email campaigns for new clients, current clients, and a monthly newsletter.
Attended styling appointments to curate clothing pulls and assisted styling clients. Organised the trip and travelled to Boston, MA, and Nashville, TN, for 2 client appointments.

Rebrand
The Brief:
Rebrand Chellie Carlson Style logo and services with a cleaner look, expansive logo selection, cohesive colour scheme, consistent copy voice and language, messaging* and fonts to be used on her website and across social media channels.

The Approach
Curate a mood board of brands and influencers whose branding, aesthetic, fonts/colours, style, and message Chellie resonated with.
Shortlist fonts, colours, and styles that work for the new brand and create several drafts of service lists. Begin to develop language and voice for messaging.
Enter the drafting process for 2-3 weeks refining both graphic and language content in Canva and a shared Google Document.
The Outcome
Multiple variations of a cleaner logo and service graphics depicting styling services for both social media, client outreach, and website use.
A brand kit in Canva of fonts and colours that compliment Chellie Carlson’s brand and seasonal aesthetic to be used consistently for graphics.
A document of messaging and copy for Chellie Carlson and our team to use for a consistent brand voice throughout social media and communication channels.











Branding and Merchandise
The Brief:
Design and create branded merchandise for Chellie Carlson Style for distribution to clients and retailers to increase brand awareness and client relations.
The Approach
Decided on what merchandise avenues to explore based on budget, what style Chellie wanted, and what branding we were going to use.
Design shopping and garment bags in Photoshop, stickers and business cards in Zazzle, and holiday cards from a design provided by Kirsten Steiner in SimplyToImpress.
Coordinate with various medium manufacturers to create and distribute the merchandise based on graphic mockups I had created.
Merchandise included shopping bags (pictured, left), garment bags, stickers, business cards and holiday cards.
The Outcome
High quality, branded merchandise to share with clients and retail partners.
Brand Highlight Instagram Story Campaign
The Brief:
Create aesthetic, relevant graphics in Canva and Photoshop for Chellie’s audience to provide her followers with new brands to shop, along with styling ideas and suggestions for the Fall season.
Each campaign is linked to a style board for clients to shop for Chellie to earn commission.
The Approach
Review Chellie’s Instagram analytics to create a spreadsheet of which stories have the most number of replies asking about clothing, and disseminate which brands were featured.
Research the brands that clients and followers shopped and resonated with most.
Created aesthetic, on brand graphics in Canva and Photoshop with relevant information on the brand, as well as a GoodPix stoppable board for followers.
The Outcome
256% increase in Instagram story responses after the first campaign launched.
202% increase in shopping queries.
~5% increase in following after each campaign.
A significant increase in commission sales for each brand through the respective shoppable style board created in GoodPix.
